Ukrainians filed more than 880 claims for property damage following the attack on July 2
Over the past 24 hours, citizens have submitted more than 880 reports via the “Diya” app regarding property damaged as a result of shelling. More than 350 of these reports came from residents of the capital.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, submitting such a report is the first and mandatory step toward receiving financial assistance under the state program “eRecovery.” Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized that the city authorities’ current priority is to complete inspections as quickly as possible, provide people with temporary housing, and promptly enter the data into the Registry.
In Kyiv, specialized district commissions are already continuing to inspect buildings, documenting the extent of damage, and assessing residents’ needs for temporary housing. Aid centers have been set up in all affected districts of the capital, where citizens can receive advice on municipal support programs and state compensation. Specialists from the Centers for Administrative Services (CAS) are also working on the ground to help people quickly process the necessary documents without unnecessary red tape.
