Fedorov: The military personnel registry is 95% complete
Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced that the electronic registry of military personnel is already 95% complete and will be launched in the near future.
According to him, the system will cover the entire life cycle of a service member—from receiving a draft notice to completing military service. The registry will contain information on place of service, previous units, training, courses completed, combat deployments, and payments received.
Fedorov noted that the new registry is intended to serve as the foundation of a digital ecosystem for military personnel and will help the government work more effectively with the relevant data.
He also announced that an electronic military ID for all service members is scheduled to be launched in the coming days. According to him, the ID will function similarly to an electronic passport in the “Diya” app and will provide access to personal data from the registry.
