Finland has announced its 33rd military aid package for Ukraine, worth €128 million
Finland will provide Ukraine with a new package of military aid worth approximately 128 million euros. This will be the 33rd package of defense support since the start of the full-scale war.
This was announced by the Finnish government.
The decision to allocate the new aid package was made by Finnish President Alexander Stubb at the recommendation of the country’s government.
The Finnish government noted that the total value of military aid provided to Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion has already reached €3.4 billion.
For security reasons, the Finnish authorities are not disclosing details of the new package, including its contents, delivery methods, and the timing of the transfer of weapons.
Helsinki emphasized that this practice ensures the safe transport of aid and preserves its effectiveness for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Finnish Air Force will conduct special exercises to repel drone attacks in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland, as well as in the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia regions, which border Russia.
A delegation from the Helsinki Fire and Rescue Department in Finland spent four days studying the experience of Ukrainian rescue workers in dealing with the aftermath of the war.
