Finland has joined the effort to establish a special tribunal against Russia
Finland has officially joined the international agreement to establish a special tribunal for Russia regarding the crime of aggression against Ukraine. As a result, the number of participating states in the initiative has risen to 21.
This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.
“Finland has become the 21st country to officially join the tribunal. We expect this number to continue to grow,” Sibiga noted.
According to him, all countries of the world, regardless of region, are invited to participate in the process of establishing the special tribunal.
“The part of the world does not matter when it comes to the universal value of respect for international law and the need to ensure justice,” the minister emphasized.
Sybiga announced that the agreement is scheduled to be put to a vote in a few weeks during a meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Chisinau.
“The Special Tribunal on the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine is a historic initiative. Join us in bringing it to life,” the Ukrainian Foreign Minister urged his partners.
