Fire Point Has Announced the Timeline for the Anti-Ballistic Missile Interceptor's Readiness
The Ukrainian defense company Fire Point is working on the development of an anti-ballistic interceptor as part of the Freyja project and plans to launch it on a full scale by mid-2027.
According to co-founder and chief designer Denis Shterlerman, the developers have already completed the first phase of integration work and will next combine all components into a single system to conduct a full cycle of testing.
At the same time, the company denied rumors spread by some media outlets about the alleged ability to “close the skies over Ukraine by the end of the month.” Denis Shterleman and Fire Point CEO Iryna Terekh called these reports fake news, emphasizing that such statements discredit the work on the Freyja anti-ballistic system and manipulate the emotions of citizens amid ongoing shelling.

On July 29, Serhiy Shtilerman, co-owner and chief designer of the Ukrainian company Fire Point, posted a photo of an unknown missile launch but did not disclose any details about the images.
As a reminder, on Monday, July 28, Fire Point reported that Ukrainian FP-1 drones struck a warehouse belonging to the Russian logistics operator 3PL in the village of Kolidino.
