Von der Leyen congratulated Koretsky on his appointment as Ukraine's prime minister
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen congratulated Serhiy Koretskyi on his appointment as Prime Minister of Ukraine and assured him of the European Union’s continued support.
According to her, the European Commission looks forward to close cooperation with the new government and expects that European integration will remain one of the key areas of reform in Ukraine.
Von der Leyen also emphasized that the EU is ready to support the implementation of the government’s reform agenda, particularly in the areas of the rule of law, energy, and other strategically important sectors.
