The Rada prematurely terminated the parliamentary mandates of Maslov and Bezgin
The Verkhovna Rada prematurely terminated the mandates of People’s Deputies Denys Maslov and Vitaliy Bezgin, who were members of the “Servant of the People” faction. Parliament adopted the relevant resolutions at a plenary session on July 17.
A total of 292 members of parliament voted to terminate Denys Maslov’s term early, and 290 voted to terminate Vitaliy Bezgin’s term early.
The decision is related to their appointment to the new Cabinet of Ministers. Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada endorsed Denis Maslov’s nomination for the position of Minister of Justice and Vitaliy Bezgin’s nomination for the position of Minister for Communities, Territories, and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine.
