Photo: The Head of the State Emergency Service presented state and agency awards to rescue workers in honor of Ukraine’s Constitution Day
On the occasion of Ukraine’s Constitution Day, Andriy Danik, Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, presented state and departmental awards to the Service’s specialists.
Rescuers were honored for their courage and bravery, dedication, and high level of professionalism, as well as for their conscientious performance of their duties under martial law.
Dozens of employees who work daily to mitigate the effects of enemy attacks received state awards and promotions.
During the ceremony, the head of the agency highlighted the exceptional contribution of civil defense personnel to the country’s defense capabilities.
In particular, 36 rescuers received the Order “For Courage” (3rd class), the Medal “For Impeccable Service” (3rd class), “Defender of the Fatherland,” “For a Life Saved,” “For Labor and Valor,” and the Presidential Distinction “For the Defense of Ukraine.”
These awards recognized their round-the-clock work under constant shelling.
In addition to state awards, the official presented employees of field and regional units with special commendations from various agencies.
Rescuers received awards from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, including the “For Distinction in Service” and “For Courage in Service” badges, “Badge of Honor,” “For Bravery in an Emergency,” as well as certificates of honor and awards from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In addition, 18 employees of the Service were promoted to the next special ranks.
