The Prosecutor General's Office will publish regular reports from prosecutorial agencies, — Kravchenko

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced the first publication of a report by the prosecutor’s office as part of the reform of the system and noted that such reports will now become a regular feature.

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced this on Telegram.

“For the first time, we are publishing a report by the prosecutor’s office for the media and civil society. This is an important step toward more open and transparent communication. The prosecutor’s office must not only work toward results but also provide substantive reports to the citizens in whose interests we act every day,” Kravchenko wrote.

According to him, the publication of the report is part of the implementation of the “comprehensive strategic plan for reforming law enforcement agencies for 2023–2027.”

“The document reflects a change in the system. It concerns decisions that helped the Prosecutor’s Office work more effectively under wartime conditions, setting priorities, updating internal rules, security, and resource management,” Kravchenko noted.

The Prosecutor General explained that the report covers updated approaches to prosecutors’ work on organized crime cases, economic proceedings, the protection of business rights, and other areas. “A separate section covers the introduction of a unified information policy, new standards for public communication, and steps aimed at increasing the transparency of the prosecutor’s office,” he added.

Kravchenko also noted that the format of the reports is stipulated by a joint order of the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigation, the State Bureau of Economic Security, and the Ministry of Finance.

“From now on, such reports will become routine. Every year, we will provide a detailed account of our activities so that every citizen can objectively assess the progress of reforms and the effectiveness of law enforcement,” Kravchenko emphasized.

The full text of the report is available on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General. “We are continuing our work,” the head of the agency emphasized.
