Vitaliy Kim, Head of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, has released his income declaration

The new Minister of Veterans Affairs, Vitaliy Kim, reported 2,605,858 UAH in income for 2025. This is according to his electronic declaration of assets and income.

Specifically, in 2025, the salary of the then-head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration amounted to 2,137,858 UAH, and his rental income was 468,000 UAH. His wife declared 4,331,684 UAH in income. Kim also reported 408,000 UAH and 74,000 euros in bank accounts, as well as 2.1 million UAH and 67,000 dollars in cash. The official’s wife holds 488,000 UAH and 71,500 euros in bank accounts, as well as 6 million UAH and 28,600 USD in cash.

According to the declaration, Kim owns five apartments measuring 115.7, 84.1, 84.1, 73.4, and 49.1 square meters, as well as a non-residential space measuring 293.6 square meters in Mykolaiv. His wife owns an apartment measuring 57.9 square meters in Mykolaiv and is also the owner and ultimate beneficiary of Duet-Plus LLC and Media Group LLC. In addition, the new minister owns a 2015 Mercedes-Benz E200, leases a 2024 Volkswagen Touareg R-Line Platinum, and his wife owns a Hublot watch.

On July 16, the Verkhovna Rada approved the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, headed by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi. The decision was supported by 264 members of parliament.

As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada received a proposal from Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi regarding the appointment of the new Cabinet of Ministers. This was announced by Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.

On July 16, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Serhiy Koretsky as Prime Minister of Ukraine. His nomination was supported by 289 members of parliament.

Serhiy Koretskyi commented on the possible appointment of Ihor Klymenko as Ukraine’s Minister of Defense. He stated that he considers Klymenko a strong and professional leader, but noted that the final decision on the candidate for head of the defense ministry rests with the president.
