The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the residential electricity rate through November

The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the current electricity rate for residential customers. The rate of 4.32 UAH per kWh will remain unchanged until October 31, 2026.

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced this on Telegram.

"The government has extended the current tariff for residential consumers until October 31, 2026—4.32 UAH per kWh. This means that electricity prices for the population remain unchanged," Svyrydenko wrote.

In addition, houses and apartments with electric heating, as well as apartment buildings not connected to the gas supply or to centralized or autonomous heating systems, will have a preferential electricity rate from October 1 to April 30—2.64 UAH per kWh for consumption up to 2,000 kWh per month. If this limit is exceeded, the rate of 4.32 UAH per kWh will apply.

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated over ₴46 million to complete the modernization of school cafeterias.

As a reminder, during surprise inspections of food service workers in educational institutions, the Ministry of Health’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention detected Staphylococcus aureus in 10% of people.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Health previously announced that it is resuming the practice of conducting tests for Staphylococcus aureus among food service workers. This decision was made at a meeting with President Zelenskyy, following a mass food poisoning incident involving children at the Khmelnytskyi Educational Complex No. 1 “School-Kindergarten.”
