The Cabinet of Ministers has frozen electricity rates for residential customers through the end of October

Electricity prices for Ukrainian residential consumers will not change in the near future and will remain at current levels.

The government has decided to maintain the current electricity price, so starting in early June, citizens will continue to pay 4.32 UAH per 1 kWh.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has officially approved a resolution that maintains the current tariff for the population until at least October 31, 2026

Thus, the decision guarantees the stability of utility bills for electricity over the coming months.

Optimizing energy costs and fixing prices will help reduce the financial burden on Ukrainian families during the upcoming heating season.

At the same time, the situation in the country’s gas sector remains stable. The gas tariff for Naftogaz customers also remains unchanged for now.

For residential consumers, the cost of natural gas is clearly fixed at 7.96 UAH per cubic meter for the period from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027.

At the same time, the situation is different in the centralized water supply and wastewater disposal sector, as there is no uniform price across the country.

Water rates for each region are determined individually either by local authorities or by the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities Sectors.

Over the weekend, from May 15 to 18, major gas station chains in Ukraine adjusted their fuel prices.

After a brief period of stability in the onion market in Ukraine, prices for this vegetable have begun to rise again.
