In Lviv, rescue workers rescued a woman from a tree after she had climbed up to save a cat
On July 12 in Lviv, State Emergency Service personnel helped a woman who found herself four meters above the ground while trying to rescue her cat from a tree. The rescuers safely brought her back down to the ground.
According to emergency officials, on the evening of July 11, the “101” Emergency Service received an unusual report that a woman and her cat were unable to climb down from a tree on Karpatska Street in Lviv on their own.
As it turned out, during a walk, the fluffy cat decided to show its independent streak and quickly climbed up a tree.
The owner, without hesitation, climbed up after her pet. She managed to get the cat down, but realized she wouldn’t be able to climb back down on her own. So the woman called the rescue team.
The emergency responders set up an extension ladder, and the woman confidently climbed down from the tree, holding her four-legged runaway tightly in her arms.
