The IRON Defense Technology Cluster has canceled its exhibition in Lviv
On July 25, the IRON Defense Technology Cluster announced the cancellation of the IRON DEMO 2026 exhibition, which was scheduled to take place in Lviv on August 28–29. The organizers did not specify the reasons for this decision, but the event, dedicated to defense developments and technologies, will not take place.
This was reported in an official statement from IRON regarding the August 28–29 event in Lviv.
As noted, throughout the cluster’s three-year history, security has always been IRON’s top priority.
“Every event we have organized during this time has been conducted in accordance with strict security protocols and with mandatory coordination with all relevant authorities. But today, any words from us would be superfluous. We extend our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the tragedy in Kyiv,” the statement reads.
It was also announced that the IRON DEMO 2026 event, scheduled for August 28–29 in Lviv, will not take place.
“We will contact everyone who registered for the event as partners, exhibitors, and participants personally,” the statement said.
As a reminder, following Russia’s strike on an arms exhibition near Kyiv, the event’s organizer was detained.
Earlier, it was reported that Russia had attacked a training ground hosting a defense products exhibition near Kyiv.
Prior to that, Russia had attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles in broad daylight, firing about 10 missiles.
