A man who directed attacks on Chernivtsi has been sentenced to 15 years in prison — SBU
A court has sentenced a Russian agent who directed airstrikes on Chernivtsi to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
This was reported by the SBU.
According to the investigation, the convicted man is a local resident who evaded mobilization while simultaneously collaborating with Russian intelligence services.
He passed on the coordinates of potential targets to the enemy, photographed the sites, and marked them on maps, then sent the data via a special chatbot.
In addition, the suspect disseminated pro-Kremlin materials on social media and justified strikes on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
During searches, authorities seized his phone containing evidence, as well as drawings and symbols of the aggressor country.
The court found him guilty of treason and justifying the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
