Kozha thanked Ukraine for repairing the Druzhba oil pipeline
European Council President António Costa expressed his gratitude to Ukraine for restoring operations on the Druzhba oil pipeline, which had been damaged by Russian attacks.
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine has completed repair work on the affected section of the pipeline, and it is ready to operate again.
The Ukrainian side began restoring the Druzhba pipeline following a proposal from the European Commission to provide technical support.
Costa thanked Ukraine for fulfilling the agreements and noted the importance of restoring the pipeline’s operation.
The European Commission expects President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to officially announce the resumption of oil pumping through Ukraine via the Druzhba pipeline in the near future.
