Exchange Rates for August 8: How Much Are the Dollar and the Euro Worth?
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Saturday, August 8, 2026. Compared to the previous banking day, August 7, the value of the U.S. dollar, the euro, the British pound, the Polish zloty, and the Swiss franc remained unchanged.
According to the NBU, the official exchange rate for the U.S. dollar is 44.76 UAH, and for the euro, 51.67 UAH.
Meanwhile, the Polish zloty is worth 12.01 UAH.
Thus, as of August 8, 2026, the major foreign currencies retained their previous official exchange rates.
Despite no changes over the past 24 hours, the U.S. dollar, the euro, the British pound, the Polish zloty, and the Swiss franc have appreciated over the past week.
The NBU’s official exchange rates may change depending on the situation in the foreign exchange market and the regulator’s decisions.

Previously, the National Bank of Ukraine had set the official exchange rates for Thursday, August 6.
The NBU has changed the rules for debiting funds from accounts to repay debts.
