Lisovyi Declared Nearly UAH 1.9 Million in Income
Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi submitted his declaration of assets and income for 2025. The minister’s total income amounted to UAH 1 million 908 thousand, including salary and a small cashback.
Lisovyi’s salary in 2025 totalled UAH 1,906,834, while cashback amounted to UAH 1,448. The minister’s wife and son declared income of UAH 822,198. Lisovyi held UAH 443.8 thousand and USD 3.5 thousand in bank accounts, and UAH 100 thousand in cash; his son held UAH 317.9 thousand in accounts and USD 26 thousand in cash.
The minister owns several real estate properties in Kyiv region: houses and land plots in Pidhirtsi, Medvyn, and Halaiky. His wife owns a house in Medvyn, while his son owns an apartment and a non-residential premises in Kyiv. Lisovyi also uses a 2003 ZAZ-Daewoo car, while his son uses a 2016 Ford Focus.
In addition, the minister owns 3,060 shares in PJSC “Ukrtelecom” and holds copyright to seven computer programs. Lisovyi’s declaration shows that he has moderate income, several real estate properties, relatively small assets in bank accounts, and intellectual property.
The head of an enterprise also organised illegal extraction of sandy soil worth UAH 52.9 million near the village of Skorodyntsi, outside the licensed area of the deposit.
By decision of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, a full audit of all Ukrainian subsoil resources and their users has begun. This is a priority issue for the Ukrainian authorities.
A deputy of Uzhhorod City Council, Valentyn Shtefanio, during a session presented Mayor Bohdan Andriiv with a plastic shovel, protesting against a land project covering 12.7 hectares related to subsoil use. The deputy expressed doubts about the feasibility of amber extraction on this site and joked about possible “gold”.
