Lubinec provided details on the preparations for a major prisoner exchange
Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, commented on preparations for the “1,000 for 1,000” prisoner exchange. According to him, technical work is currently underway at the level of the negotiating teams, which are working out the details of the upcoming process.
As reported by a Ukrinform correspondent, the ombudsman announced this during a presentation of the project “Made in Russia. Taken Captive.”
“As of today, technical work is underway at the level of the negotiating teams,” Lubinets said, responding to a question about whether the exchange in the “1,000 for 1,000” format would continue.
Lubinec presented a project on Russian war crimes against Ukrainian prisoners of war.
