Lviv police asked a random passerby to be a witness, he turned out to be a planting agent
In Lviv, on February 18, 2025, during investigative actions, Mykhailo Kostiuchenko, who agreed to become a witness in the case, confessed to having 67 bags of drugs. The police found cannabis weighing more than 56 grams in his backpack, which confirmed his involvement in illegal drug possession. Today, November 25, 2025, the Sykhiv District Court announced the verdict.

The court sentenced him to 4 years in prison, however, given the circumstances of the case, Kostyuchenko was placed on probation for 3 years. The defendant pleaded guilty and expressed his readiness to repent, and was ordered to pay UAH 8914 in favor of the state for procedural costs.
