A woman from Kramatorsk was sentenced to 15 years in prison for passing information about the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to Russia

A court found a 36-year-old resident of Kramatorsk guilty of treason for passing information to Russian military personnel regarding the deployment and movements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, in August 2025, the woman met a man on the social network “Odnoklassniki” who introduced himself as a serviceman in the Russian Armed Forces. Subsequently, their communication continued on Telegram.

At her interlocutor’s request, she transmitted data on the movements of Ukrainian armored vehicles in the Kramatorsk area, as well as reported on the locations of mobile checkpoints, trenches, and dugouts, marking the coordinates on an electronic map.

In addition, the defendant confirmed information that the Russian side received from other agents.

The court sentenced her to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The prosecutor’s office noted that the woman acted without financial compensation and did not admit her guilt in court.
