Another nearly 10 million hryvnias in bail was posted for Yermak

Another installment of bail, amounting to 9.8 million hryvnias, has been paid on behalf of Andriy Yermak, the former head of the Office of the President. As a result, of the 140 million hryvnias set by the court, 85.6 million remains to be paid.

According to Radio Liberty’s “Schemes” project, citing sources in law enforcement, this payment came from the company “Miralif,” founded in 2023. The firm, registered in the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka near Kyiv, lists its primary business activity as the leasing and operation of its own or leased real estate.

We were unable to reach the company’s director, Valentin Krutko—his phones are not working. He was also, or remains, the founder of a number of other companies. On specialized services that show how a subscriber is listed in other users’ phone books, there are several tags indicating that Valentin was a boxing coach.

According to media reports, in 2018, Valentin Krutko found himself in the dock as one of the suspects in the April 1 shooting at the “Eldorado” nightclub in Ivano-Frankivsk, which left two people wounded and resulted in the detention of 11 others. In court, the suspects partially admitted their guilt and were subsequently sentenced to prison.

Thus, as of 2:00 p.m., a total of approximately 54 million hryvnias in bail had been posted for the former head of the President’s Office—that is, more than a third.
