The Ministry of Defense has officially adopted the new Kolibri-i10 interceptor drone
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has certified the TAF Kolibri-i10 high-speed interceptor drone, manufactured by the Ukrainian company TAF Industries. The drone is designed to destroy Russian reconnaissance and strike drones, including the “Molniya,” “Orlan,” and Zala.
The interceptor is capable of reaching speeds of over 200 km/h, climbing to an altitude of up to 3,000 meters, and remaining airborne for over 20 minutes. Its maximum flight range is up to 25 km.
The drone is now available for purchase through the DOT-Chain Defense system, specifically via the e-Bali program.
"The TAF Kolibri-i10 interceptor is equipped with a new, sturdy frame that better withstands loads and features an optimized mounting layout. We’ve installed more powerful motors, a more reliable camera mount, and replaced the propellers with high-speed ones. The product also features improved overall aerodynamics,” the developers said regarding the interceptor’s specifications.
The drone’s speed exceeds 200 km/h, its flight range is up to 25 km, it can remain airborne for over 20 minutes, and it flies at altitudes of up to 3,000 m. The price of the UAV with a daytime digital camera is 31,700 UAH, and with a nighttime digital camera, it is 64,500 UAH.
“Manual control gives the operator full control in critical situations. Digital day or night cameras allow operation in various conditions. And the MilELRS firmware ensures stable operation under active electronic warfare conditions,” the company emphasized.
TAF Industries explained that the idea to create the TAF Kolibri-i10 arose from the practical use of the Kolibri 10 FPV drone to intercept enemy drones. According to the manufacturer, the main functions of the TAF Kolibri-i10 are to destroy Russian reconnaissance and kamikaze strike drones—the “Molniya,” “Orlan,” and Zala.
“Thus, the interceptor helps prevent attacks on Ukrainian positions, support combat operations, and protect facilities in frontline areas and behind the lines,” the company added.
