The Ministry of Defense explained the procedure for new payments to military personnel for June
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has clarified the procedure for calculating pay and additional payments to military personnel for June. The ministry noted that part of the funds will be paid out only after the necessary documents have been processed and orders have been issued by the commanders of military units.
The payments that service members have already received or will receive in the coming days constitute their base pay. An additional bonus of 10,000 UAH for rear-area service in June will be paid simultaneously with additional payments for participation in combat operations.
In addition, the ministry noted that combat pay, as well as compensation for taking enemy personnel captive, will be disbursed after military unit commanders issue orders specifying the amount of payments for individual service members.
Payments for strike, reconnaissance, and assault operations will be calculated after the higher command submits documents confirming the completion of the relevant missions. If such documents are received after the established deadline, the funds will be paid out the following month.
“At the same time, in Order No. 260, the Ministry of Defense stipulated that the higher command has three days to confirm assault operations,” the ministry noted.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that payments for the elimination of enemy personnel will be made after the relevant information is verified in the “Delta” system and an order is issued by the commander. The procedure for such verification will be published separately.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Facebook.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense has clarified the procedure for calculating a new additional rear-area bonus in the amount of 10,000 hryvnias per month.
The Ministry of Defense has announced a reform of the Territorial Defense Forces and is investigating complaints regarding violations of citizens’ rights.
