The Ministry of Defense has clarified the procedure for automatically extending deferrals in the "Reserve+" program
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced that most deferrals from mobilization are now automatically extended, without the need for repeat visits to the Territorial Mobilization Center (TMC) or the Administrative Services Center (ASC). The current status of the document is displayed directly in the “Reserve+” app and remains valid until the end of the current mobilization period, as defined by presidential decree.
The Ministry of Defense reported this, noting that the key condition for automatic renewal is the availability of verified data in state registries.
Automatic renewal is available for a wide range of categories, including people with disabilities, students, parents of multiple children, teachers, and those caring for sick relatives. The system automatically verifies information against the Pension Fund databases and the Civil Registry. If the data in the registries is complete and up-to-date, the user receives a notification in the app, and a new deferral date appears in the “Services” section.
You only need to resubmit documents to the ASC in cases where the system was unable to automatically confirm eligibility due to incomplete data regarding family ties, caregiving, or disability status. A personal application is also required for categories not included in the list for automatic renewal. The digitization of military registration helps reduce the burden on government agencies and simplify procedures for citizens amid the ongoing Russian aggression.
The TCC explained the deferment rules for students and education workers during mobilization.
