The Ministry of Defense has launched testing of simplified transfers via Army+

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in collaboration with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has begun testing a simplified system for transferring military personnel via the “Army+” app within a single army corps.

In the first phase, the program will be available to service members of the 16th and 19th Army Corps. Transfer requests can only be submitted between military units that are part of the same corps. All requests are submitted through the “Army+” app, where users can also track the status of their request.

Service members with ranks ranging from private to staff sergeant who do not hold officer positions, are not in the Special Forces, and are serving in corps participating in the program are eligible to use this new mechanism.

The pilot program will run until September 24, 2026. After that, the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff will evaluate the results and decide whether to expand the program.
