In the Cherkasy region, a Georgian citizen violated the country's residency regulations for the second time
In the Cherkasy region, law enforcement officials have reported the first results of the operational phase of Operation “Migrant,” which began on June 1. In the Zvenyhorod district, immigration officials identified a 33-year-old Georgian citizen who had exceeded the permitted length of stay in Ukraine.
As established during an inspection by employees of the Zvenyhorod Department of the Central-Southern Interregional Directorate of the State Migration Service, the woman entered Ukraine in November 2025. It also turned out that she had previously violated migration laws.
Last year, the foreign national had already been held administratively liable for a similar violation, and a decision had been made regarding her forced return.
This time, for a repeat violation of the rules of stay in Ukraine, the woman was held liable under Part 3 of Article 203 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. She was fined 5,100 hryvnias.
In addition, the Migration Service issued a new decision on forced return, and the Georgian citizen pledged in writing to leave Ukraine within one month.

The host party was also held accountable and fined 1,700 hryvnias for the second time.
The Migration Service emphasizes that Operation “Migrant” is ongoing. As part of the practical phase, checks are being conducted on foreigners and stateless persons, violations of migration laws are being identified, and appropriate decisions are being made regarding violators.
Earlier, soldiers of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “SKELYA” captured a foreign soldier during combat operations in Kupiansk. According to the defenders themselves, he was fighting as part of Russian units and turned out to be a citizen of Kenya.
