A woman who was selling her own child was caught in the Chernihiv region
Law enforcement officers in Chernihiv Oblast have detained a 32-year-old resident of the Koryukivka Raion who is suspected of trafficking her own young child. According to the investigation, the woman may have attempted to sell her daughter for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
During the pre-trial investigation, operatives from the criminal division and investigators from the Chernihiv Regional Police Investigation Department, under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor’s office, established that the woman, for financial gain, used one of her young daughters for sexual exploitation.
Currently, the suspect has been detained in accordance with Article 615 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in custody. Police investigators, under the procedural supervision of the prosecutor’s office, have notified her of the charges.
The suspect has been taken into custody. She faces up to 15 years in prison.

Earlier in Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a mobilized serviceman who had deserted his unit in the Kharkiv region and, according to the investigation, began collaborating with the Russian side by carrying out tasks related to the registration of Starlink terminals.
Law enforcement officers used their service firearms to repel an attack during a call in the village of Seredniy Bereziv, Kosiv District. The incident occurred after medical workers complained about the aggressive behavior of an unknown man who threatened them with violence.
