In the Donetsk region, 69,000 civilians, including nearly 3,000 children, remain in the zone of active hostilities. Dmytro Petlin, a representative of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this during an online briefing.
The situation remains dangerous in 21 of the 25 communities located in the Ukraine-controlled territory of Donetsk Oblast. In total, there are currently about 84,500 civilians in the region’s free territory, including 4,060 children.
Since the beginning of September, more than 10,900 people have left the region or been evacuated. In total, since February 2022, more than 1.452 million people have been evacuated from government-controlled territories in the Donetsk region.

Russian troops struck a passenger bus in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Five people were killed and seven others were wounded in the attack, according to Serhiy Hanzha, head of the regional military administration.

Since the beginning of the day on September 15, there have been 219 combat engagements on the front lines. Russian troops launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian forces repelled 38 assaults.
