In the Kyiv region, a man beat his live-in partner to death and buried her body
In the Boryspil district, a man inflicted fatal injuries on his 35-year-old live-in partner during an altercation. He then buried the woman’s body in the yard of their home.
The suspect was apprehended by investigators from the Boryspil District Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. The man has already been notified of the charges against him and faces up to 15 years in prison.
Law enforcement officials determined that a conflict arose between the 33-year-old man and his live-in partner in the village of Dudarkiv while they were consuming alcoholic beverages. While at their shared residence, the suspect struck the woman numerous times with his hands and feet on her head and torso.
The victim died at the scene from her injuries.
In an attempt to conceal the crime, the suspect wrapped the woman’s body in a blanket and buried it in the yard of the house.
Police detained the man in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
Investigators, under the procedural supervision of the Boryspil District Prosecutor’s Office, charged the suspect with intentional murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The pretrial investigation is ongoing.

A Kyiv resident who stabbed a military medical commission doctor to death has been arrested by a court.
The day before, in Kyiv, a 31-year-old man was notified that he was suspected of murdering a 55-year-old doctor from the Military Medical Commission. According to the investigation, he inflicted approximately 17 stab wounds on the woman after learning that he had been deemed fit for military service.
In Kyiv’s Podilsky District, patrol officers detained a 17-year-old youth who had threatened his family with a knife and, during the arrest, stabbed one of the officers. The injured officer was hospitalized, and the assailant was detained.
