Zelenskyy is preparing changes to Ukraine's diplomatic team

Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine is preparing changes to its diplomatic team. The president emphasized that diplomacy must deliver concrete results for Ukraine. That is why they plan to strengthen certain areas and change the approach to work.
“We are preparing decisions; the diplomatic team needs new approaches in certain areas, particularly in the United States. Appointments will be made following the necessary consultations. Ukraine needs results,” Zelenskyy said. At the same time, the president did not specify exactly which positions or candidates he was referring to. He also did not name specific individuals who might be appointed or replaced.
The U.S. was mentioned separately
Among the areas where changes are expected, Zelenskyy named the United States. Relations with the U.S. are among the most critical for Ukraine, especially given the military, political, and diplomatic support Kyiv receives. Ukraine is constantly negotiating with the U.S. regarding aid, sanctions against Russia, security, and continued support in the war. Therefore, the effectiveness of the Ukrainian diplomatic team in Washington is of particular importance.

Ukraine Needs Results

The Office of the President refused to publish on the head of state’s website an online petition calling for Volodymyr Zelenskyy to hold a press conference for independent media.
