Teenagers Were Involved in a Fatal Traffic Accident in the Kyiv Region

In the Fastiv District of Kyiv Oblast, a 17-year-old driver of a Mitsubishi lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and crashed into a tree at high speed. 

As a result of the accident, the teenage driver died from his injuries in an ambulance, while his 15-year-old passenger was hospitalized with injuries. 

The fatal accident occurred recently on the highway between the villages of Velyka Soltanivka and Mala Soltanivka. Law enforcement investigators are currently determining the full circumstances and causes of this tragic traffic accident.

As a reminder, the Pryluky City and District Court in Chernihiv Oblast sentenced a former police officer to eight years in prison for a fatal traffic accident that resulted in the death of a six-year-old child.

In Lviv Oblast, a 68-year-old driver of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, who was under the influence of alcohol, fatally struck a Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemember. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
