Long lines formed at the border with Poland ahead of the holidays for those entering Ukraine
At several border crossings along the border with Poland, lines of cars are forming as they wait to enter Ukraine.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on Telegram.
As border guards noted, there is a build-up of traffic at entry points into Ukraine in the Lviv region.
As of now, the following are waiting to enter:
- at the “Ugryniv” checkpoint — 10 passenger cars;
- at “Krakivtsi” — 60 cars;
- at the “Shehyni” checkpoint — 70 cars.
There are also queues of buses: at “Krakivtsi”—6 vehicles, at “Shehyni”—10.
Meanwhile, traffic remains free at other checkpoints in Lviv Oblast. No traffic congestion has been reported for those leaving Ukraine.
The State Border Guard Service recommends taking the situation into account when planning trips and, if possible, choosing less congested border crossing points.
Previously, the State Customs Service of Ukraine reported a significant increase in traffic at the Ukrainian-Polish border.
