Lines have formed at the border with Poland in the Lviv region

On July 9, traffic is backing up at the Ukrainian-Polish border in Lviv Oblast as vehicles attempt to leave Ukraine. The largest number of vehicles is expected at the “Krakivets” border crossing.

As of 10:15 a.m., about 100 vehicles are waiting in line in front of the “Krakivets” border crossing. At the “Shehyni” checkpoint, 50 passenger cars and three buses are waiting to exit; at “Hrushev,” 35 vehicles; at “Ugryniv,” 25; and at “Nyzhankovychi,” 10.

At the same time, border guards note that the “Rava-Ruska” and “Smilnytsia” border crossing points currently remain uncongested.

The State Border Guard Service recommends that drivers choose less congested border crossing points to avoid long waits, and plan to cross the state border in the morning or late evening.

This was reported by the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment.

Twelve-hour lines have formed at the border with Poland due to an increase in passenger traffic.

Ukraine has upgraded four border crossing points on the border with Moldova.
