A tractor driver died in Lviv Oblast after his tractor overturned
A fatal accident involving a tractor occurred in the Sambir district of Lviv Oblast. A 46-year-old tractor driver was killed when the vehicle overturned in the village of Shandrovets.
On Tuesday, July 21, a tractor overturned in the village of Shandrovets in Lviv Oblast. The 46-year-old tractor driver died as a result of the accident. This was reported on Wednesday, July 22, by the Civil Protection Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
According to the report, the accident occurred around 10:15 a.m. in the village of Shandrovets, Sambir District. A 46-year-old local resident was driving an “Orion” tractor with a trailer down a slope on a dirt road when he lost control, causing the tractor to overturn. The tractor driver died at the scene from his injuries.
Investigators have opened a criminal case regarding this incident under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of traffic safety rules or transport operation rules by persons operating vehicles).
