Trade between Ukraine and Azerbaijan increased by more than 10%

Trade between Ukraine and Azerbaijan increased by more than 10% in the first five months of 2026 compared to the same period last year. This was reported by Yuriy Gusev, Ukraine’s ambassador to Azerbaijan.

According to him, Ukraine is increasing its exports of agricultural products, while importing fertilizers, oil, petroleum products, and energy equipment from Azerbaijan. The diplomat noted that cooperation between the countries has significant potential for further development.

Gusev also emphasized that expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan opens up transit routes for Ukraine to the markets of the South Caucasus and Central Asia, and also contributes to the development of transport corridors in the Black Sea-Caspian region.
