In the Poltava region, a bus collided with a truck, leaving six people injured
A major traffic accident involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer occurred on the Kyiv–Kharkiv–Dovzhansky strategic highway in the Lubny District of Poltava Oblast.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Poltava Oblast.
As a result of the collision, six bus passengers sustained injuries of varying severity and were rushed to medical facilities.
The accident occurred on the morning of April 23, at approximately 7:30 a.m., near the village of Kalynivka, which is part of the Hrebinkivska territorial community.
According to preliminary data from law enforcement, a SOR passenger bus crashed into a Scania truck at high speed.
The bus was driven by a man born in 1985, while the truck was driven by a 38-year-old driver.

The impact was so severe that a significant number of passengers required immediate medical attention, which was provided by paramedics who arrived at the scene along with the police.
The Main Directorate of the National Police in Poltava Oblast reported: “The traffic accident occurred on the Kyiv–Kharkiv–Dovzhansky highway. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.”
An investigative team is currently working at the scene to determine the technical causes of the collision.
All six injured passengers were transported from the scene to the hospital for medical care and to determine the final severity of their injuries.
Doctors are conducting the necessary examinations to determine the further course of treatment for the injured individuals.
