Zelenskyy reaffirmed his support for students from Azerbaijan

Ukraine will continue its educational programs for students from Azerbaijan. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this announcement following talks with Ilham Aliyev. Officials in Kyiv say they welcome the interest shown by foreign students and intend to support it.

According to the head of state, Ukraine is interested in ensuring that foreign students continue to choose it as a place to study. In particular, this refers to young people from Azerbaijan, who have long been actively enrolling in Ukrainian universities. “Of course, we are very pleased that Azerbaijani students very often choose Ukraine. We will continue these programs,” Zelenskyy said.

He emphasized that such educational initiatives are not only about learning but also about ties between countries. Education fosters trust, the exchange of experience, and long-term partnerships. During the meeting, the parties discussed not only politics and security but also humanitarian cooperation. Education has become one of the areas where both countries see potential.

Ukraine plans to continue supporting foreign students, particularly through special programs, educational opportunities, and support for adaptation. This is important both for the students themselves and for the development of the country’s international relations.

Ukraine has declared its readiness for a new round of negotiations with Russia in Azerbaijan. This involves a trilateral format with the participation of mediators. Everything depends on whether Moscow is ready for genuine diplomacy.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Saudi Arabia, where he plans to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

Zelenskyystated that negotiations regarding Ukraine cannot wait for the war in Iran to end.
