An earthquake was recorded in the Poltava region

On the morning of August 15, an earthquake was recorded in the Poltava region. It had a magnitude of 2.4, and the tremors occurred at a depth of about 3 kilometers.

 

According to the Main Center for Special Monitoring, the tremors were recorded on Saturday at 6:33 a.m. The earthquake occurred in the Poltava region. Its magnitude was 2.4 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was located at a depth of about 3 kilometers.

The tremors were not felt

Experts classified this earthquake as imperceptible. This means that people in the area where it occurred should not have felt the tremors. There are no reports of damage or any other consequences of the earthquake. The Main Center for Special Monitoring continues to monitor seismic activity in Ukraine.
