A fatal traffic accident occurred on the Kyiv–Odesa highway: the driver was killed, and two women are in the hospital
A fatal traffic accident occurred in the Obukhiv district. The 70-year-old driver of a passenger car was killed in the accident, and two female passengers were injured.
According to preliminary reports, the accident occurred on June 25 on the Kyiv–Odesa highway near the village of Mytnytsia. The driver of a Ford Focus lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a guardrail.
The man died at the scene from his injuries. The two female passengers, aged 63 and 69, were hospitalized with injuries.

Investigators have opened a criminal case regarding the fatal traffic accident under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The circumstances of the accident are being determined.

As a reminder, a major traffic accident involving two passenger cars occurred on the Kyiv–Pereyaslav highway near the village of Rogoziv in the Boryspil District. Four people were killed in the accident, and three others were injured.
The day before, a farewell ceremony was held at the St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery in Kyiv for two beat officers from the Solom— Lieutenant Denys Budchenko and Senior Lieutenant Dmytro Bondarchuk.
