Warm, sunny weather is expected in Ukraine on Palm Sunday, according to meteorologist Didenko
Rain has arrived in Ukraine, but by Palm Sunday, April 5, sunny weather will prevail.
This was reported by meteorologist Natalka Didenko.
“Warm weather is expected on Palm Sunday, with rain possible only in the southern part of the country,” Didenko noted.
The meteorologist added that April will begin with comfortable warmth: daytime temperatures will range from +10 to +16°C, and necessary precipitation is expected. According to her, over the next 24 hours, rain will be intermittent due to the influence of a southern cyclone, while there will be almost no precipitation in Crimea.
“Air temperatures in most regions of Ukraine are expected to range from +12 to +17°C during the day. Only a pocket of cooler weather will form in the western regions, where daytime temperatures will be +6 to +12°C, and in the Carpathians, they will be several degrees lower. In Kyiv on April 1, intermittent rain and warm weather with air temperatures up to +15°C are expected,” Didenko reported.
After a cold winter, Ukrainians are looking forward to spring warmth, but April will bring not only sunshine but also weather “swings.” Forecasters warn: night frosts are possible at the beginning of the month, so it’s best to wait before planting vegetables and starting the early swimming season.
