Rain and thunderstorms are forecast for this weekend in Ukraine
Unstable weather is expected in Ukraine on June 13–14, with brief showers and thunderstorms in some regions.
On Saturday, June 13, rain is expected overnight in most northern, central, and southern regions, while daytime precipitation is forecast for the Left Bank, Crimea, and western regions. In the east of the country and in Crimea, thunderstorms are possible, with hail in some places and wind gusts of up to 15–20 m/s.
Nighttime temperatures will range from +9 to +15°C, and up to +11°C in western regions. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach +19...+24°C, and up to +29°C in the east and southeast.
On Sunday, June 14, short-lived rains and thunderstorms are forecast in most regions of the country, with the exception of a significant part of the southern and eastern regions. Winds will pick up to 7–12 m/s.
Overnight, temperatures will range from +9° to +15°, and during the day from +19° to +24°. It will be warmer in the south and east: up to +27°.
In Kyiv, there will be brief rain on Saturday night, with no significant precipitation expected during the day. Rain is possible on Sunday afternoon. Air temperatures in the capital over the weekend will be around +21...+23°.
