A Ukrainian man is suspected of passing a military program to Belarus for $1,000
Criminal proceedings have been opened in Ukraine against a citizen suspected of transferring software for a military flight simulator to Belarus.
According to investigators, he received $1,000 for doing so.
The software in question is for the KTS-21M stationary comprehensive simulator, which is used to train military aviation crews, specifically MiG-29 fighter pilots. According to the investigation, the technology was transferred via a messaging app no later than June 2025.
Several Ukrainian citizens are implicated in the case. One of them, according to journalists, may work at the Belarusian company “Aeramash,” which develops and maintains aviation equipment and simulators.
The suspect previously worked as a designer of electronic flight simulators for the Mi-8, Mi-24, MiG-29, and Il-76. After the scheme was uncovered, law enforcement conducted searches and seized electronic storage devices and cell phones. The court imposed a preventive measure on him in the form of a personal commitment.
The investigation is ongoing.

The SBU warned of FSB schemes to recruit Ukrainians for terrorist attacks.
The Security Service of Ukraine announced the exposure and detention of two FSB agents who, according to the investigation, were preparing a series of terrorist attacks in the Kharkiv region. One of their tasks was an attempt to carry out a mass killing of Ukrainian military personnel under the guise of a “charity” party.
In the Kyiv region, a court sentenced an FSB agent to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property for passing on the coordinates of air defense units protecting Kyiv to the occupiers.
