A female National Guard soldier was found dead in a car in Volyn

In the Lutsk District of Volyn Oblast, the body of a 32-year-old female soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine was found in a car. Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation and are determining the causes and circumstances of her death.

During the initial examination, no visible signs of a violent death were found. The body was sent for a forensic medical examination to determine the cause of death. At this time, the theory of suicide has not been officially confirmed.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the body of the 32-year-old female soldier was discovered on September 2 at approximately 4:00 p.m. in a car in the Lutsk district.

During the initial examination, no visible signs of a violent death were found on the woman’s body. It was sent for a forensic medical examination to determine the definitive cause of death. 
 

Investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—intentional homicide—with the notation “suicide.”

The investigation aims to establish all the circumstances and the final cause of the serviceman’s death. 

Yulia Shevchenko, spokesperson for the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Defense Affairs in the Western Region, reported this to journalists.

The bodies of three family members were found in Rome; police suspect murder and suicide.
