MP Bezugla Returns to the Servant of the People Faction
People's Deputy Mariana Bezuhla is ready to return to the "Servant of the People" parliamentary faction. She left the faction in 2024.
According to her, this is necessary to secure the registration of a resolution to establish a temporary investigative commission on the military justice system.
Bezugla said she attended a faction meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy because she supports voting alongside the ruling majority. “I was at the faction meeting with the President because I vote with them, but I couldn’t hold back and shouted, ‘But Syrskyi is killing people!’” the MP wrote.
At the same time, she stated that she would rejoin the “Servant of the People” faction in the very near future. “Tomorrow I’ll have to rejoin ‘Servant of the People’ because they’re blocking the TSC resolution on the military justice system... Kalchenko, the head of the ‘Servant of the People’ Rules Committee, is arguing that an independent MP cannot convene the TSK,” Bezuhla asserts.
According to her, after returning to the faction, she will not change her position and will continue to openly criticize the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “I will attend all faction meetings as long as I’m there; I won’t remain silent, and I’ll push for the resolution. Right now, the choice is becoming increasingly clear: form or result,” the lawmaker stated.
Bezugla announced her intentions on Facebook.
As a reminder, Bezuhla accused Oleksandra Ustinova of having ties to the Office of the President and of hiding her husband from mobilization.
Earlier, MPs Ustinova and Bezuhla had a public spat on social media. Ustinova called her colleague an “animal” in response to her post about the death of MP Yaroslav Rushchyshyn.
