Nataliya Didenko explained when Ukraine can expect a real warming trend
The meteorologist reported a change in weather conditions at the start of summer. According to Natalka Didenko’s forecast, a sharp rise in temperatures is expected in Ukraine starting June 1. Air temperatures will gradually rise, and the weather will take on a more summery feel.
Ukrainians should endure the final whims of spring just a little longer. Despite the damp, cold, and wet weather currently prevailing in the country, the calendar summer will bring genuine sunny warmth. Temperatures will rise rapidly starting from the very first day of the new season.
According to Nataliya Didenko, the final days of May have decided to put Ukrainians through a real test of endurance. Saturday and Sunday, which this year mark the major religious holiday of Trinity Sunday (Green Sunday), will be decidedly cool and rainy.
The meteorologist advises not to be upset by the weather’s whims, but to create comfort and warmth on your own, using ancient Ukrainian traditions.
“We need to hang in there today and tomorrow—when it’s still cold and wet throughout the day. Let’s make up for the cold Green Sunday and spring’s final farewell with linden blossoms, mint, thyme, wormwood, and lovage, and warm ourselves with shared warmth—both the expected, predictable kind and the human warmth around us,” the meteorologist notes.
A dramatic shift in the weather situation will occur precisely according to the calendar. As early as Monday, June 1, powerful air masses will push the rain front away, making room for bright sunshine.
The main news will be a significant rise in air temperature. Across virtually the entire territory of Ukraine, thermometers will confidently surpass the 20° mark, bringing stable and comfortable summer warmth.
So the start of the workweek will finally allow everyone in the country to switch to light summer clothes and kick off the season of long, sunny walks.
