An experimental project to establish anti-drone defenses in the northern, northeastern, and northwestern directions has begun around Kharkiv. This was announced by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

The system is being set up at one of the military facilities primarily to counter enemy drones controlled via fiber-optic cables. The project is funded from the regional budget, and its total cost is 30 million hryvnias, of which 7 million hryvnias have already been allocated for the first phase. The first results of the work are expected in three weeks, after which the defense perimeter is planned to be expanded.
