The National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NAZK) has begun monitoring the lifestyle of Andriy Motovylovets, first deputy head of the “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction, following an investigation by BIHUS.Info. The investigation was prompted by a 180-meter apartment worth nearly 14 million hryvnias in Kyiv’s historic center near the Golden Gate, which the MP rents at a significant discount.

Journalists discovered that HighBild In, the company that owns the apartment, was established one month before the property was purchased and is registered under the name of Lyudmyla Kubanskikh, a beauty specialist from Brovary. 

As investigators established during conversations with the woman and her husband, she is the company’s director only “on paper,” and Motovylovets himself pays approximately $1,000 per month in rent—three times less than the market rate. The previous owner of the apartment—Business Building Company—is linked to real estate properties associated with Vadym Stolar, a member of parliament from the banned Opposition Platform—For Life (OPZZh) party.
