The NBU Set the Official Exchange Rates for July 17
The National Bank of Ukraine has published the official exchange rates for Friday, July 17. Compared to the previous banking day, the U.S. dollar fell slightly in value, while the euro rose and the Polish zloty lost some of its value.
According to the NBU, the official exchange rate for the dollar is set at 44.61 UAH per dollar. The exchange rate for the euro is 51.16 UAH, and for the Polish zloty, 11.81 UAH.
The official exchange rate is used for accounting, customs settlements, and other transactions specified by law.

As a reminder, the National Bank of Ukraine published the official exchange rates for Thursday, July 16, 2026. Compared to the previous day, the U.S. dollar and the euro gained in value, while the Polish zloty lost slightly in value. The official exchange rate for the dollar was set at 44.74 hryvnia.
Serhiy Mamedov, Vice President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks and Chairman of the Board of Globus Bank, predicts that by the end of 2026, the dollar exchange rate could rise to 46–46.5 UAH, and the euro to 52.5–53.5 UAH. At the same time, he urged Ukrainians not to panic and not to convert all their savings into foreign currency.
