Germany has confirmed the delivery of the latest RCH 155 howitzers to Ukraine

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has officially confirmed for the first time that Ukraine has already received modern RCH 155 self-propelled artillery systems.

According to the head of the German Ministry of Defense, the new 155-mm wheeled howitzers “have proven themselves very well in Ukraine.” He made the statement during a visit to the KNDS plant in Kassel, where these artillery systems are manufactured.

The RCH 155 is capable of firing at ranges of up to 54 km at a rate of up to nine rounds per minute. One of its key features is the ability to fire with precision while on the move, making it difficult for the enemy to target it.

Previously, the only official reports had been about the training of Ukrainian military personnel on these systems in Germany. Following Pistorius’s statement, it became known that the howitzers had already been transferred to Ukraine, although there is no information yet on their combat use.

In total, Germany plans to transfer 54 RCH 155 systems to Ukraine to equip three artillery battalions.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian-American company Swarmer is integrating its drone swarm control system with the SpatialCore platform developed by the American company Brightline Interactive. This collaboration will allow the combat experience of Ukrainian drones to be used to train artificial intelligence models being developed for the U.S. Department of Defense.

In addition, the United States and Ukraine have signed an agreement providing for the export of Ukrainian land, air, and sea drones to the U.S. for military testing. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported this, citing sources in Washington.
